for children’s health

The 13th annual Bavarian Patent Attorneys’ Foosball Tournament took place in Munich yesterday.

During the event, patent attorneys switched from their robes and files to sportswear and foosball handles. Twenty-eight teams competed against one another, settling their disputes at the foosball tables rather than in the courts.

It was a great team-building event, and of course our K&W foosball team — consisting of Rainer Kuhnen and Stefan Hofstetter-Spona — couldn’t miss out. Despite strong competition and intense physical exertion after five hours of play, the underdogs secured a successful third-place finish.

And all of this was for a good cause. Once again this year, participation will support the Children’s Health Foundation, which is dedicated to ensuring that children and adolescents grow up healthy.
