… Claim Interpretation, Estoppel, Information Sharing, Chat Bots and Much More
That is the motto of this year’s European Practice Committee Conference of the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO), to be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, in Frankfurt.
Rainer Kuhnen and Alexander Wittmann will be attending on behalf of Kuhnen & Wacker.
The agenda includes, among other topics, current developments in claim interpretation in light of G1/24 and G1/25, the doctrine of equivalents and estoppel in a comparison of U.S. law, German law, and UPC law, information sharing and attorney-client privilege, as well as the use of AI tools in patent practice—with contributions from the EPO, UPC, industry, and law firms.
